oh, shock! They are finally coming back! I remember in 1969 down by Captree Island off Long Island, watching with some degree of amazement as a shiny new red convertible drove into the water and picked up speed and sped off. I looked at my best friend, we shrugged and figured that it was just something new that we’d never seen before and we never saw one again.
But I’m guessing that if it could be done in 1969, it has probably been done since then.

WoW and I thought they only existed in the Bond movies.
Anyone know of a small version that the normal person could afford to buy.

If I had a house by a huge lake, and had boatload of money, hell I’d get one. It’s a pretty fascinating concept to say the least. :)

The Hydra Spyder features a Corvette V8 engine, but Giljam said they are planning to upgrade it with the supercharged 502 CDI Chevy Race engine delivering about 400 to 500 horsepower. The Hydra Spyder is also equipped with a jet propulsion system, air retractable suspension on all four wheels, and a fiberglass body. Me thinks that it is worth the $155,000 you need to spend for it.

It helps, of course, to learn these aquatic feats behind the wheel of his latest creation, the ”Hydra Spyder,” an amphibious car that cruises on H2O as easily as it does on blacktop. It just like it has a powerful Coil Spring Stabilizer which help in fast splashing.
