The long-awaited KEF concept blade speaker range is now a reality. We have earlier told you about the concept speakers back in 2009. Though it’s very rare that the prototypes the companies flaunt make a shift from concept into reality, KEF has been able to pull it off just as was expected. The curvy blade shaped speakers are as pleasing to the eyes as they are to the ears.

Besides the curvaceous silhouette, the speaker boasts individual driver sections for bass (LF), midrange (MF) and treble (HF) for a surround sound experience that seems to be coming from a single source. Four 9” (22.5 cm), newly developed bass drivers delivers distortion-free low frequency response.

The artistic speakers are available in a range of gloss finishes, including piano black, garnet, sapphire, grigio, racing red, racing blue, pale gold, orange sorbet, graphite, stardust, lemon sorbet, lime sorbet or snow white. The world’s first high performance audio system is in-built and ingeniously concealed in the back of the kitchen cabinet doors, and what is visible is a tastefully designed display in stylish black glass, built into the kitchen cabinet, with a colorful small screen of the size of an iPod screen to let you know what’s playing. Italian designer Carlo Cafiero is known for his colorful and striking yacht designs intended to make the ocean world even more colorful. We have earlier told you about his Lamborghini-inspired 80-meter superyacht concept in collaboration with the TechMarine shipyard. The latest is his new 90-meter luxury yacht concept with sleek and colorful silhouette.

The yacht inherits an elongated design with a characteristic high bow like its predecessor. The 90-meter motoryacht has an aluminum superstructure as well as hull, distinctive lateral windows and orange colored polyurethane wings on its sides in Carlo Cafiero’s signature style. The other luxury features include a Jacuzzi and sun lounge along with a retractable helipad in the bow, and a swimming pool at the back. The spacious hangar is meant to dock an Augusta Grand. The yacht can accommodate up to 30 guests in its luxury suites besides the owner’s luxury suite divided over the five decks. The megayacht features hybrid electric/diesel propulsion to hit a maximum speed of 17 knots with a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 6000 nautical miles.

The pod-shaped camper van swiftly transforms from an all-electric vehicle to a fully blown caravan for outdoor lovers. The zero-emission vehicle boasts built-in photovoltaic panels and a solar sail roof to let you live luxuriously even in the no-electricity areas. And, it can be quickly charged at a standard 240V station. The camper van rides closer to the ground to be more spacious. The pod opens up to provide utmost space, the sleeping loft tilts up, the bathroom and entry pod flip open and the entry stairs fold downward from the pod. The foldable design allows you the freedom to use it just as you want. A perfect camper van for the Bond!

The British company Dent London, better known as the makers of the Big Ben Clock, has added a new chapter to the company’s horological legacy with the first new movement in 60 years with its Denison wristwatch. The new Dent Denison is a three-handed wristwatch based on their earlier designs from the 1920s and 1930s. The classic watch features a cushion case and a white dial with hand-applied Breguet numerals and a small date aperture at 3 o’clock. The “teardrop” hour and minute hands are made from steel which is “blued” in the traditional English method.

The back of the watch features a caseback that opens to reveal the exquisitely made automatic movement inside a semi-circular crystal display. The fully wound movement offers a power reserve of 42 hours. The caseback can be personalised and the secondary back carryies a hand-engraved pattern in the style of English designer William Morris. This classic men’s watch will be available in a limited edition of just 100 18ct rose gold models, and 100 pieces in 18ct white gold. Each watch is handmade to order and requires six months to complete for a price of $39,950.

The royal wedding paraphernalia is all set to take over the world today, but Prince William has other plans to cause a stir once the wedding is over with his all-new Ducati superbike, which is rumored to be on his wedding gift list. Given his love for bikes, the Ducati Diavel Carbon might not be a rumor after all. The Prince has earlier been in the news for his need for speed, and the other Ducati bikes he owns include a top of the range Ducati 1198SP superbike, costing £17k.

The Ducati Diavel Carbon will reportedly be engraved with the date of the royal wedding, and will feature a similar engine to the 1198SP, but for the price of £15,895. The bike features carbon fiber panels and lightweight wheels to help it achieve a 0-60mph time of 2.8 seconds.

The pod-shaped chair also boasts hi-tech features including built-in LED RGB lighting, that can be remote controlled to suit your mood and needs, including white for reading, so it can turn from a sculptural lamp into a reading lounge chair just like that. The base allows endless 360° rotation both ways. The Matreshka Light Chair is a perfect place to enjoy your personal space, curling up with a book on a lazy day, only if it also had built-in speakers and a waterbed like Alberto Frias’ perceptual pod called “Transport,” nonetheless, we are loving it! The chair made its debut at the Milan 2011 fair.

We have seen some of the luxurious automotive sculptures made using life-sized models, including the including the Piaggio Aero’s private jet sculpture, besides the luxurious automotive sculptures including Mercedes Benz stunning ‘Asthetics 125’ sculpture, and the golden Aston Martin DB5 by Swiss artist Dante. The latest is papercraft model of the Audi A7 by designer Taras Lesko. The papercraft Audi is made using 285 sheets of paper and is the largest papercraft model of a vehicle ever produced. The model features 750 parts for the paper car. The papercraft auto sculpture was on display at the New York auto show 2011.
